Xenolinguist’s debut LP, Axiom Syntax, illustrates extraterrestrial atmospheres with intense tones, and embodies her futuristic, unconventional style. Flute, vocal, and experimental sampling, with overall composition style provide a sense of conflicting light and dark energy. Axiom Syntax is a journey through the sounds of Xenolinguist.

“Make music, not genres” is the goal of Xenolinguist, and the main focus for the LP; each song is an emotional expression through sound. The name of the LP is inspired by the word Xenolinguistics: the study of alien language through inner dialogues. “Axiom” is a statement that is self-evidently true, and “Syntax” is the linguistic elements and characteristics make up a given language. Axiom Syntax has been a journey to write and I have learned a lot while doing it; the intentions behind the music is showcased here. A huge thank you to Dillard for the mastering, and to pheel. for providing support and tools along the way.
